OH SNAP!!!

GUYYYS!!!

   Okay, I know I just posted on Wednesday, but something HUGE dropped the day after! On Thursday, I was going about my morning doing my duties, when one of the servants brought in the daily mail. Edward looked through them for me while I was working on something else, and one particular letter caught his eye. it looked like a diplomatic letter so he handed it to me so I could read it. The letter itself was really nice looking, it even had a wax royal seal of some kind on the flap. It didn't look familiar so I knew it wasn't from the Mushroom Kingdom or Sarasaland, but I opened it anyway and read it... and my heart just about jumped out of my chest! I have the letter here for you to read so you could react to it too.

   Oh... my... AAHHHHHHH!!!! This CAN'T be happening!! Prince Dominic was a real person after all?! That disguise Luigi and Kamek pulled wasn't made up?! WHAT IS GOING ON?!?! I reacted so shockingly that I startled Edward, Nana, and PomPom who was sitting on the table! To make matters worse, there was a photograph sent with the letter that slipped out of the envelope onto the table. I took one look at it and almost fainted. Here it is...

   Now TELL me that looks like the Prince I saw at the Gathering!! In case anyone is confused or haven't read my story: "The Princely Disguise" over on the Stories tab, I had a Suitor Gathering at the Palace a few months ago to see if I could find a partner. I was having none of it, but Luigi decided he wanted to help me and got Kamek to craft a disguise for him. Not only did he look JUST like this, he went by the name Dominic! That CAN'T be just a coincidence! Long story short, he got my attention and we had a good time, but I only played along because I knew it was him the whole time, I just didn't say. But now my first “love interest” is real, and I have zero clue on what he’s like! I mean seriously, he may have the same looks and name, but he could be a completely different person from what Luigi was! And the worst part, he actually does look kinda cute... like I actually want meet him out of morbid curiosity! EEEEEEK!!

   Anyways after this little freak out I went to the Bros. house on Friday and I had them take us to Peach’s Castle, so I could tell her and the Bros. about all of this, and once I showed them the letter and photo they were SHOOK! Peach was surprised, Mario was shocked, and Luigi was terrified! After everyone calmed down and let it sink in, we talked about what to do next. Peach was all for going to Ellantia, but the Bros. we’re a little hesitant, and told me to go consult Kamek to make sure it wasn’t a fluke. And I did, while dragging Luigi with me so he could explain himself! At Kamek’s domain in Bowser’s Castle, he read the letter and photo and was also surprised. All he could say was that, perhaps the spell he used had drawn inspiration for the disguise from a pre-existing individual instead on original design like he suspected, and that naming  Luigi “Dominic” was merely a coincidence.

   Well that didn’t do anything to settle my nerves! But once we knew it was really real we finally settled on me going to Ellantia. Since the letter said that I could bring others with me, PomPom, Mario, Luigi and Peach will be going with me too. As I’m writing this post we finished packing and are heading to Peach’s private airfield where her plane is parked. I still can’t believe I’m doing this, and it doesn’t help that Ellantia is so far away! That gives me a buttload of time to think on the plane ride, and I don’t even want to think about this too much! Guys, I’m really scared. What if this Dominic is not the same type of man I imagine him being? But on the flip side, what if he is? Then what do I do?! I’m just happy I have the others on this with me, they’ll always have my back in case something happens. I’ll try to keep you guys posted at every step of the trip, and here’s to hoping that it all goes well! Blog ya soon.
