Hey Guys!
Finally I can get back on here! It feels like it's been forever even though it's only been a couple months. In case you're new around here, 2019 has been a real dump for me. With the Piranha Plant invasion and restoration on the island, to getting kidnapped with Luigi, I just wasn't catching a single break for myself. I feel terrible too, because all of my friends keep trying to cheer me up in one way or another, and it still gets worse! In fact we all just got back from that sketchy hotel that King Boo tried to trap us in (Luigi's Mansion 3 anyone?), and that was one of those said attempts to cheer me up. I mean, I did get a sense of comradery out of trying to help rescue everyone from King Boo, but it was just another layer of stress to my pancake stack of a crap-chute! It feels like the only thing that's keeping me sane right now is video games and gaming news. I mean that last Nintendo Direct had me popping off for Smash! Banjo-Kazooie, Terry Bogard, SANS?? What even is that game anymore? I would give anything to join Smash Bros., but I just don't have the credentials to be added to the roster. Mario's actually tried to vouch for me once already to make me an Echo Fighter at least, but his request was sadly shot down. I won't stop trying though!
Besides gaming, the only other way I've managed to cope with my year was to keep in touch with Dominic. All year so far we've been texting and calling each other back and forth talking about our struggles, and it turns out that Dominic has been having it rough this year too. He's hitting a milestone in his royal life and is slowly starting to take up some more responsibilities around Ellantia. It seems that his source of stress is not coming from the workload, but from expectations of people around him. I found that kind of odd, because he never really seemed like the person who would worry about stuff like that. I offered him to take a break on the Isle so he could recharge and he actually accepted, but it won't be until the second half of October. So at least I can have that to look forward to!
Speaking of October, it's Birthday time! Mario, Luigi and I have been talking about what we wanted to do this year to celebrate. I've already made blog posts talking about our parties and what we do at them, so I won't make a repeat post. Although, as we were talking about party planning, I received a message from space, Rosalina and Sis are coming back! I'm so happy right now, I've missed them horribly these past few months! From what it says in the message, they should be able to make it by at least my Birthday if not a couple days late, which is perfectly fine to me, as long as they come home! Oh man, once Midnight is home, there will be more hands and extra brain to help with getting island back in order, which is STILL ongoing BTW. Thankfully it's almost done, but having Sis back will definitely help in making things move smoothly.
Whew! I think that's all I can do for now. My mind is in a whole bunch of castles right now so it's been hard to focus on these posts. Maybe when Dominic visits I'll give you guys an update on how it went. Other than that, anybody playing Mario Kart Tour? I've been playing it since it came out and it's been really fun! I've been lucky on gacha pulls, and I haven't had the need to buy anything besides the gold card. I guess what I'm trying to segway into is that I want to try and set up some friends on the game. Luckily it's just as easy as setting up friends on Pokemon Go. All you have to do is input a 12 number code and you can send a friend request! So, if you want, I'll put my code here for you guys to input into your games so we can race together! I'll type it at the end of the post so it's easier to see, but other than that, I'm out! Blog ya soon guys!

Story Time! ...Again
Hey Guys!
Well, I kept my promise and I'm going to talk about my recent misadventure with Luigi. Don't ask me why I find myself in these situations with him more than Mario, we don't get it either. This happened back in May right after I finished fighting the Piranha Plants and rebuilding Isle Delfino, so this is also adding on to the crap-chute that is my 2019 year. With that out of the way, where do I begin...
Right, so this all started in mid- May. I was so exhausted after fighting the Plant Gang that I lost track of the dates. All that I cared about was that it was on a weekend which meant some quality time with Mario and Luigi, at least, that was what I was hoping for. That Saturday morning Mario had to go overlook a project for E3 before the convention opened, so he was going to be gone until the end of the day. This left Luigi, PomPom and myself at the house just chilling and doing nothing. Well, technically Luigi was reading a book at the kitchen table, and I was the lazy bum who crashed on the couch. After a while I couldn't find a comfortable position there, so I did what any little sister would do and decided to go bug Luigi. I initially just sat down at the table with him and laid my head down, but then he gave me that, "Can I help you?" look on his face like he knew I wanted something. Pretty soon Luigi gave in and he let me sleep in his chest pocket in my fairy form. If you've read some of my blog entries in the past, you would know that I have this tendency of changing into my fairy form around the Bros. I'm not sure if it's the difference in scale when I'm tiny or what, but I always feel super safe when I'm with them this way. So I shrink down and fuse with PomPom to have her wings and fly into Luigi's pocket to sleep in. Once I was all set inside Luigi went back to his reading. This went on for a little while to the point where I almost dozed off, but then we both heard a loud knock on the front door. It startled us at first, but Luigi then just casually put down his book and made his way to the door. He first checked the peep hole in case it was a person there, but he didn't see anybody. It was when he opened the door that he saw a box on the porch marked to the house. We originally thought the package was for Mario, since Luigi nor I were expecting any packages that day, so we took it in. For the box's size, Luigi said it didn't feel as heavy as it should have been, so he decided to open it up to see what was inside it while I looked on in his pocket. As he was cutting the tape though, I started to see the box itself start to bulge like there was a spring inside. I was so small that I basically had to scream at Luigi to get him to stop what he was doing and see what I was talking about. Although he panicked at first, Luigi quickly took the box to the front door, pointed the opening away from him, and BANG! All at once this huge and sturdy net flew out of the box onto the lawn with a surprising amount of force that almost knocked Luigi backwards. We both were shocked at what we saw, but we got our nerves back together and confirmed that it was yet another one of Bowser's traps. We had a good laugh about how the trick failed and what an idiot Bowser was, but that mood quickly turned around. Because as soon as we let our guard down, we heard a loud popping sound from the box, and this dark noxious smoke started billowing out. Luigi's first reaction was to drop the box and cover his nose and mouth with one hand, and me with the other hand, but it just wasn't enough. There was too much gas around us to avoid it, and the next thing I know Luigi started to collapse to the floor and fall asleep. I couldn't do anything to help him, so I just stayed in the pocket and kept quiet. The gas eventually got to me too, but I was able to see the feet of some of Bowser's minions, so I knew we were toast before I fell unconscious.
Some time later I finally regained consciousness enough to check on Luigi. As I flew out of his pocket, it was revealed that Bowser did in fact capture us and threw us into a dungeon cell at his castle. What I didn't expect was how long we were out for, because when I looked out the window to see outside, it was sundown! After that I tried desperately to wake Luigi up to get him going, but he took a little longer than I did to come to. Once he did he was pretty shocked and upset about it, but he quickly started thinking up a plan to escape, which was very appreciated on my end. All that went up in flames though as soon as we heard Bowser stomping his way to our room. We weren't sure that if he knew I was there with Luigi, so I hid in the pocket again to be on the safe side. All we could do then was wait anxiously for Bowser to enter the room. For most of this I kept my head down inside the pocket, so I didn't get to see much but heard all of the conversation. All that Bowser did was just go on and on and ON with how effective his new kidnapping technique was, along with throwing out some intimidating jeers at Luigi to keep him nervous. I felt so bad for him, the whole time I was in the pocket I could hear Luigi's heart booming so fast in my ears, poor guy! After a few minutes of that torture, Bowser started spilling the more juicy information about his plan. Apparently that net-in-a-box gas trap was supposed to be a test, and used Luigi (and myself) as a guinea pig to make sure it worked. Bowser also explained that he left a planted note behind for Mario to find and read, which would entice him to come running for the castle to save us. However, instead of a fair fight, Bowser planned on utilizing the same elements of the trap to capture Mario! Oh man you guys, that pocket was starting to get a little warm for me, because I was SPITTING mad! I wanted to jump out of that pocket and beat the crap out of Bowser so badly, but of course I wasn't going to when I was tiny! I could tell Luigi was pretty upset too, and he mustered up all of the bravado he had that night to argue back at Bowser. Obviously, he wasn't shaken by it, and before Luigi could say anything else we hear that Mario already made it to the castle, and Bowser left the room to prepare for the impending fight. After that, Luigi and I immediately got back to work on our escape.
Getting out of the dungeon room was easy, one of Bowser's idiot minions left the key to the door just across the hall, which Luigi sent me out to snag and open the door. Once we were out it was a matter of navigating the castle to find the room Mario and Bowser were fighting in. Immediately we thought of the place the Bros. call "The Pit". You know, that big room with vaulted ceilings Mario fights Bowser in the "New Super Mario Bros" games? Yeah that one, it has a name now. Anyway we eventually made it to those iconic big double doors, only to find two Sledge Bros guarding it. Instead of dealing with that mess, Luigi decided to use some stone tunnels that ran across the top of the walls to get past them. When we were inside the tunnel, all we had to do was follow the sound of the fight to the right room. Once we made it, there was a convenient opening where we could watch them. At first things were going pretty well, from the way Mario was jumping around Bowser with so much agility he seemed unfazed by all the work from the E3 prep. Then suddenly Bowser found an opening and swatted at Mario to knock him to the ground, and just as he explained to us in the dungeon, had a minion pull out the net-in-a-box to shoot at Mario and completely engulf him in the net. Not too long after we hear the familiar pop of the gas going off, and it was curtains from there, no matter how much Mario struggled to get out of the net, he was out in under a minute. After the fight was over, all Luigi and I could do was stare at each other in complete shock and gobsmacked horror. Not gonna lie, it kinda shook me up little bit, all I thought about doing was crawling back into Luigi's pocket and sulking. After the both of us recovered from that, Luigi deducted that they were taking Mario to a separate dungeon that was on the complete opposite side of the castle, which meant more exploring through the tunnels. Eventually we found the room Mario was in, but before Luigi set out to find the key, he dropped me off to stay with Mario until he got back, which was fair.
Once Luigi was gone, I slipped through the window of the dungeon room door to check in on Mario, who was still asleep on the ground and covered in the net. I was still pretty worried about him, so the first thing I did was fly down to see how he was doing. Coming from such an intense fight, Mario looked way too relaxed as he slept. After I was sure he was okay, I then took my frustration out on the net to see if I could cut it, but the net itself was made of very sturdy materials that my tiny fairy magic couldn't scratch. As I was busy with that, I didn't pay attention to what was going on behind me. Before I could react, all I could see was a giant white hand reaching out and grabbing me out of the air. Holy crap I was about to scream my head off! It wasn't until Mario, who was wide awake and fully alert, quickly shushed me and calmed me down. Uh... WHAT?! I was so confused! How come Luigi and I were conked out all day when Mario was down for only a few minutes?? After I settled down, Mario explained everything. Starting from when he got home with the planted note, but instead of going straight to Bowser's castle, he managed to find some evidence at the house first. At that point he pulled out a small purple CO2 canister that had that sleeping smoke inside it. Not only was it a good foreshadowing for what to expect, but it turned out to have a small list of the smoke's ingredients in fine print! What kind of idiots does Bowser hire?! Thanks to the ingredients, Mario knew exactly how to counter the smoke, and it's stupidly simple. Three words: Fire. Flower. Seeds! I never would've guessed! Apparently the seeds of a Fire Flower have the same potency as a fully grown bloom, and it's spicy enough to keep you awake. The only downside is that it takes longer to activate since you have to actually consume one like a sunflower seed, which Mario took advantage of. He said that while he was "struggling" in the net, he brought his hand up to his face to cover his mouth from the smoke and had a seed there ready to use. Once he was out of Bowser's sight, the seed would activate his Fire Mario form. DUDE!! I'm usually the one who comes up with schemes like that! Just as he finished talking, his clothes suddenly flashed and changed to his Fire form as if on cue.
Once Mario's fire mode was up, he made quick work of the net surrounding him and freed himself. As he finished that up, Luigi had returned with the key to the dungeon room and unlocked the door, only to be just as confused as I was at Mario's state. Mario laughed it off and passed Luigi a proper Fire Flower while he explained everything again. Now that we were grouped back together, we then made our exit. It was getting way too late to start any more fights, so we just took the quiet approach to escape this time. Once we were far enough away from the castle I was finally able to defuse from PomPom and grow back to normal size, and as soon as we got home I crashed yet again on the sofa. So much for 2019 so far huh? I seriously can't catch a break...
Alrighty, it's been a while since I posted a story, it's pretty refreshing. Although with E3 and having Father's Day with Mario, this post took longer than I wanted to finish. It's worth it I think, and hopefully this will somewhat make up for my hiatus right? Well, I'm out. I've finally got some downtime for myself this year and I'm going to take every last second of it! Blog ya later guys! Peace out!

Sorry About The Wait!!
Hey Guys!
UGH! I am SO SORRY!! Looking at the last post I made, it felt like I left you guys on a wire! I hate doing that so much. I legit was going to post back in January, but so many things came up with work and gaming news that the time got away from me. I'm also working on another project with my Blog Editor, but I'll get to that in minute. I guess this post is mainly just to show you that I did not abandon the blog and that I'm not dead for that matter. Since I'm back on here, it would only make sense that I get you guys caught up in my life from the past five to six months.
I'll start in January first, only makes sense to do so. Christmas was fantastic as always and I got to spend some very nice quality time with my friends and family. Especially with my Sis, who's going on a galactic journey with Rosalina until the end of the year, so I won't be seeing her for a while. Then post New Years came along and that's when 2019 took a dive for me. While I was staying with the Bros. at their house, I get a frantic phone call from Edward saying that there was huge outbreak in Piranha Plants of all things throughout Isle Delfino. Mario and Luigi wanted to help so much, but they had their own projects they had to attend to. So being the patriotic yet stupid Princess I am, I decided that I would be fine taking on the Plants by myself for "the sake of my kingdom" or something like that. I get home and sure enough those suckers were everywhere, with vines weaving in and out of the ground and buildings, even in the surrounding ocean! I tried to get a grasp of what happened, and apparently it had something to do with the weather last year. It was hotter than usual in the late summer and fall seasons which left a lot of the existing Piranha Plants to retreat underground for shade, and I guess since they were all left festering in one place for so long that once it started to cool down their population just exploded out from where they were hiding. It was extremely similar to a bad insect infestation, and like an infestation they were NOT FUN to deal with! It felt like I was fighting a Hydra or something, you get rid of one head somewhere and in another place more sprout up to replace it! This... war essentially, lasted for a couple months until mid March, when the weather was starting to warm up for Spring. By then the Bros. were done with whatever they were doing and came over to help me on the island to start pushing the Plants back to where they were coming from. They had some sort of nest in Bianco Hills and we were able to finally put an end to it. I felt SO relieved once we beat them all, I actually needed a vacation to break the stress, and I LIVE on a vacation site!
Of course I couldn't sit down for very long. Not only is it the start of vacation season as I'm typing this, but the dumb Plant Gang wrecked the foundation of many buildings around the island. Luckily none of the bigger locales like Pinna Park and Hotel Delfino weren't affected too much, they just needed their landscaping repaired. The Plaza had seen better days though... yeesh. I'm surprised the Shine Sprites didn't scatter as bad as I thought they would, I mean the Shine Gate was okay but still. So yeah, that basically took up most of my time for late March through April, with some help from various parties though the island is back to normal and the Shines are back where they belong, for now. After I made sure everything was back in order, I FINALLY took some downtime, and take a wild guess where I did that! Unfortunately just as I thought I caught a break, whole new can of worms exploded one day when I was with Luigi, but I'll save that story for another day. In short, Bowser tried to kidnap us with a new trick, we were stuck at his place for a night and Mario had to get us, it sucked.
Anyways, back onto a happier note, I've got a very exciting project in the works with my Blog Editor! It's still in the designing phase right now, but we are making *drum roll*... MY OWN FANGAME!! Yes! We are working together to create a fun fangame that will star me, PomPom, and all my friends! There may not be any working betas right now, but if you guys want a peek and what we're doing, I'll leave a link to my Blog Editor's portfolio on Artstation below! Get excited guys, I just know you'll like it! It's been a blast working on it so far too! We don't really have a concrete release date, but I'll keep you guys posted on it's progress.
All right, I think I've made up for all that lost time. If not I'll just have to make a few more posts than usual in June and July, but MAN I hope your 2019 was better than mine so far you guys, seriously! The real MVP of all this nonsense was PomPom, poor thing! I dragged her around everywhere I went for the past five months, non-stop it seemed like, and not once did she complain. That precious squish-bean puts up with way more than I realize! I love you PomPom! I'll make it up to you! Anyway guys, blog ya soon, and be sure to check out the link to the portfolio!

A Small PSA...
Hey Guys,
As much as I hate to point stuff like this out or give lectures, this is something that I've let fester for long enough. Lately on some of my blog posts I've been receiving comments with very suggestive and lewd remarks and gestures. Not only is this rude to me and my Blog Editor Katie, but this sort of behavior is unacceptable for a blog pointed toward a family-friendly audience. Most of these individuals have been left anonymous, so I can't point out specific people, but if this continues to be a problem, I will unfortunately have to shut down the comments section. I know this is an art blog about an OC and this may dig into some people's fandoms about Mario's franchise, but this is all in good fun. If the definition of fun is based on the comments I've been seeing, then I'm sorry, you do not have a place here. There are plenty of other sites and blogs that offer a little more freedom, but not this one. So with all due respect toward my friends and fans, please refrain from using explicit language and rude gestures in your comments. We will be doubling down on moderating to prevent other issues in the future, but we prefer it that it stops altogether. Katie and I are both human beings too you know. It hurts us both to read the comments to see such things, and to think that potentially younger readers could see it too is even worse. Apart from that, there really isn't much else to it, and I hope you guys look forward to this blog's antics going into 2019. I'll have a proper post for December later this month, until then Happy Holidays and blog ya soon.
Thank you

My First Dating Anniversary...Help!
Hey Guys!
So I was going about my day, working my Princess magic, when I suddenly got a text message on my phone earlier. Here's the conversation:
Dominic: Hi!
Me: Hi!<3
Dominic: I just realized what today is.
Me: What?
Dominic: It's the first anniversary of when we started dating.
Me: Whoa! Already??
Dominic: I know right? The year went by so quickly!
Me: What should we do?
Dominic: I was thinking about maybe having dinner somewhere. Nothing too crazy.
Me: That actually sounds perfect. Where should we go?
Dominic: How about I come to the island? I hear the food is great over there haha.
Me: Sure! I can make the arrangements! When will you come?
Dominic: How about tonight? Traveling is so easy nowadays isn't it?
Me: Like, TONIGHT tonight??
Dominic: Yeah. Something wrong?
Me: No! No! It's all good! See you tonight!
Dominic: Same
*inhale* AAAAAAAHHHHH!!! So yeah I've got THAT happening tonight! What do I do?!?! I still can't believe that I've already been dating Dominic for a year! To think it all started with Luigi trying to cheer me up during a drab suitor gathering! I'm still not letting him off for that btw. UGH I'm so nervous! Does anyone have good advice for a first anniversary date? I could really use some right now! I have to get ready, but I just wanted to clue you guys in on this tonight. Seriously, I don't deserve this guy! He only needs the best! I gotta go guys, blog ya soon!

Let the Pun Hunt Begin!!
Hey Guys!
I know it took me awhile, but my special Halloween activity that I promised is finally ready! First off, we need a quick background. Once I was old enough to play video games, Luigi introduced me to his game Luigi's Mansion for the first time. I was probably about 7 years old at the time, so I was pretty scared of the game initially, even when I was only watching Luigi play. As the game went on though he then started point out the puntastic Boo names and joke about the various cliches in the game to loosen me up, and it worked! Thanks to that experience I love the Luigi's Mansion games now, which explains my excitement for the new one in 2019! Then a few years later, Dark Moon came out on the 3DS, and Luigi and I did a playthrough of that as well. After finishing it 100%, we then went back and tried to look for those horror cliches and Boo puns, and even looked for anything that carried over from the first game. At some point, I started to take a notepad and write down every pun and theme I saw, so that when we came back to the game another day, we would have a sort of checklist of stuff we've seen and maybe add more in case we missed any. And so, those are the foundations of our annual Pun Hunt through Luigi's Mansion!
Now that I explained the origins, I now have the honor to pass this fun tradition off to you guys! Of course these aren't the original notes that I wrote down, I simply doctored them on the computer a little so that they look more presentable. There are multiple pages for the puns and a separate list for all of the Boos. The Boo page in particular is my favorite, mainly because I left some of my flavor text in parenthesis that were based on my initial thoughts on each Boo's name. Luigi also left a nice message on it too, which is nice. I do need to clarify that these lists are based on the original Luigi's Mansion on the Gamecube. I know that on the 3DS remake there are several changes and additions, but I'll leave you guys to find those! I'll also challenge you guys to find the puns and cliches in Dark Moon as well! A good amount of the original puns did make it to the sequel, so it leaves a nice foothold to start on.
Before I pass this challenge on to you though, I do need to establish some rules. These were some guidelines that even Luigi and I follow when we do these Pun Hunts, so here they are:
1. If you already know the story of the game, don't cheat and move ahead! Play it as it is and you'll have more fun that way!
2. If you don't have the game itself, walkthroughs online are perfectly fine to follow too. I recommend the 100% runs if you can find them.
3. NO HACKS OR GLITCHES!! You shouldn't need to do any of that to find all of these items and Boos.
4. Above all, have fun playing the game! <3
Alright! I think that's everything for this challenge! I'll pass this off to you and let you guys take a swing at it, happy hunting! Oh! And if you guys manage to find anything different that Luigi and I haven't found yet that's not on the list, tell me in the comments! I'm extremely curious to how this will work out. Maybe next year I can make the lists for Dark Moon and the new game! Until then, blog ya soon guys! Happy Halloween!
