Whew! I'm back from an awesome weekend! The End of Summer Festival on the Island went off without a hitch too! Only Luigi and Daisy came, unfortunately Mario and Peach couldn't make it which I can understand. But even then the three of us had SO much fun! They came just before the Festival started to help set up a little, and after all the clean up we went back to the Palace and they decided to stay for the weekend! Cool right? Once everything settled down, Daisy gave some amazing news, SHE'S GOING TO BE IN SUPER MARIO RUN!!! Guys this is HUGE! Daisy told me that she hasn't seen action like this since Mario saved her all that time ago! After the three of us talked, I had an idea on what I wanted to talk about today! This time, I'm going to talk about my girl Daisy!
Well, let's see. I'll start at the beginning when I first met her. When I had just moved in with the Bros. at five years old, Mario and I were going around town preparing for Sidekick Appreciation Day(See my Luigi post for more!). One of the stops on our errands was a flower shop Daisy runs in town. Mario wanted some flowers to spruce up the house and Daisy wanted a reason to give flowers to Luigi! ;) Anyways we walked in and Daisy greeted us right away, happy and cheerful like she always is. Of course back then I was still shy as a bird so I was hiding behind Mario when she came up, but he eventually coaxed me to say hello. After Mario introduced me to Daisy and explained everything that happened to me, she was pretty surprised but still happy to meet me nonetheless. Then she noticed that I was still uncomfortable, so she asked me when my Birthday was. It seemed a little out of place at the moment but I told her, October 14th. Daisy was happy with my answer and then took us back through her shop out to the back garden, and that garden man! There were flowers that were native in the Mushroom Kingdom and beyond back there! I even saw some Power-Ups back there like Fire Flowers too. Anyway she took us through the rows of colorful flower beds until she stopped us at a specific patch. They were Marigold flowers! Daisy explained how everyone has something called a birth-flower, kinda like how birth-stones work. It was all so cool to me, and both Mario and Daisy could tell by how I lit up during our conversation. So after all of that we got the flowers that we needed, Mario and I went on with our day. So yeah, my first real bonding moment with Daisy is over gardening and flower language, and now every year for my Birthday she sends me a huge vase of Marigolds! Isn't she sweet?
If I had to describe Daisy in the simplest way possible, I would liken her to that energetic big sister that wants to do everything with you! And I really do consider her a sister-in-arms too. For example, when I was young and the Bros. needed a babysitter, Daisy was first on the call list! She and I got to do the most awesome stuff too! Not only would we hang out at her garden, but we'd go shopping, to the beach, maybe a carnival if it rolls into town, or if we needed to just chill we stayed either at her house that she has in the Mushroom Kingdom or the Bros. house. But one time when I was older, she snuck me away to Sarasaland while the Bros. were off rescuing Peach! On her Cruiser! OHMIGOSH that was a blast! We had an adventure of our own going through all four of the kingdoms! And they had NO clue what we did when they got back! XD It's was our little secret! I think what I love about Daisy the most, is just that there is no filter to that girl! What you see is definitely what you get! She's also not afraid to speak her mind either. If you guys have seen how she acts in the games, you know what I mean! Mario may have helped me come out my shell, but Daisy definitely broke the ice! She taught me how be comfortable with the rest of the crew when the time came to meet them!
Well, what else can I say? Daisy is definitely and open book that's for sure! And I really do hope that her appearance in Mario Run leads to bigger and better things for her! I need to take off but Daisy, if you read this, you are the coolest and funnest Princess I have ever met! Thanks for all the happy days that nobody else could give! Here's to even more! Blog ya soon guys!

Woo! Princess Daisy! That girl seriously needs to be included more in the main games. Welp, we can all conclude that Daisy is the right type of princess to help brighten up the day.
