You read right! If you've been keeping up on my posts, you'll know that today is...*drum roll* MY BIRTHDAY!!! Yay! Of course I always love when this day comes along, the day is mine and it's a party all day long! What's even cooler, Mario and Luigi's Birthdays butt up next to mine! Their Birthdays were on the 11th, while mine is on the 14th! Yay October babies! Back on Wednesday I had the chance to text them that morning to send them Birthday wishes! This was what my phone read:
Me: Happy Birthday Bros! Love you both! <3
Luigi: Aww! Thanks kiddo! Love you too! Can't wait for our party on Saturday!
Mario: Thank you Dana. Love you too.
Me: So what was your game plan today?
Mario: Well, the Princesses took us both out on a double date this morning. After that we rested up for the next place.
Me: Ooh! Where was that?
*short pause in texts*
Me: Guys?
Luigi: You wanna come down to your throne room real quick? ;)
OMG I have never run down a flight of stairs so fast in my life! I was practically flying! When PomPom and I made it to the throne room, sure enough my two favorite guys were right there waiting for us! I was so happy to see them that I practically tackled them giving them hugs! After our little reunion I had asked them why they came to Isle Delfino. Mario told me that they couldn't wait until Friday to see me, so they decided to spend the rest of the week with me! How sweet is that? And of course Luigi's excuse was just that, it's Isle Delfino, a little vacation doesn't hurt!(even though he was just here with Daisy a couple weeks ago... XD) What was even better was that Edward even managed to clear up my schedule so that I could spend proper time with the guys! He's so great! So yeah, for the rest of the week going into the weekend the Bros, PomPom and I spent our Birthdays together! I am so happy! Right now we are just relaxing, but when I woke up this morning the Bros. surprised me with a small present right at my bed! And when I opened it up, I was super surprised! Mario had managed to save and bring back a set of Power Moons from his recent adventure for me! There was one of every color from each of the kingdoms he visited! Isn't that cool? They're gonna look great intermingled with the Shine Sprites back at the Palace!
And on a more serious tone, this day marks the anniversary of the Palace Raid, and when I first moved in with Mario and Luigi. If you haven't read from my previous posts, the Palace Raid was a huge freak event that came out of nowhere.It wasn't that someone was trying to usurp me or anything, but it turned out some rando was trying to cause a ruckus and kidnap me or something, I'm not sure on the details. But it wasn't a laughing matter. It was on the night of my 5th Birthday and there was quite a decent crowd, so when this guy tried to make his entrance he didn't go unnoticed. But yeah after it quickly escalated PomPom and I managed to slip away with Nana while Edward orchestrated the guards. But in the chaos PomPom and I got separated from Nana and I had to make my way to my bedroom by myself. Once I got up there and barred the door(or at least I tried to), I grabbed a small backpack and tried to put a few things together. It was right at that point Mario showed up via warp pipe on my balcony. After a short reunion he checked if I was okay and asked what was going on. After I told what happened he noticed I was trying to pack a bag and decided to help me finish packing. Just as we finished the raiders were at my bedroom door trying to break in. At that point Mario grabbed me and PomPom without a second thought and sprinted for the warp pipe, but not without stopping and letting me have one last look before jumping in. We popped back in the Mushroom Kingdom, and the rest is history. Luckily no one was seriously hurt, but the Palace had suffered a good amount of damage, so it took a couple years to refurbish it and deem it livable again. Which was one of the reasons why I stayed with the Bros. in the first place.
Okay, now that I got that off my chest, time to get back up to speed. Later this afternoon we are heading over to Peach's Castle to have a party with all of our friends. I even heard that the likes of Rosalina and even Pauline are coming, so that's cool! Even though the Bros. and I have our Birthdays on different dates, we still have the bigger party for all three of us on my Birthday so we can celebrate together! Speaking of later this afternoon, I gotta jet! I need to get ready for my party, I might even wear my party dress! Love you guys! Blog ya soon!

*A word from the Blog Editor*
Hi guys, this is Kathryn. In case any of you wonder about this, the fact that Dana's Birthday is today doesn't exactly mean she got older today. To keep in line with Mario logic, Danielle has only been shown to grow up from childhood to her current age, as with the other characters. This was primarily for storytelling purposes as Dana's life is one giant story arc in itself, and so that her stories are as legitimate to that games as possible. In short, Danielle will always be depicted as fifteen years old in the current day, just as how Mario and Luigi are depicted in their twenties even though they've been around for longer than that! Thanks for understanding and thank you for supporting this blog.
