I've mentioned on this blog that I'm a Princess right? If I haven't I'm sorry, but if I did let me remind you. I am the currently ruling monarch on the tropical paradise of Isle Delfino. It's quite the story of how I found my way to Isle Delfino, but I'll try to keep it short this time.
When I reincarnated from my past life as Aurora Delfinia, my soul collided with a Shine Sprite and I spawned on the island shoreline as a tiny baby. When the locals found me, they sensed Aurora's presence and her power. Instead of being fearful of me they decided they wanted to protect me, and thus decided to give me the title of their "ruler" until I was old enough to properly take a throne. Of course that meant I needed a regent or adviser to instruct me and a nursemaid to help take care of me. Those two positions went to my head butler Edward and my nursemaid Nana, who are both Piantas. The people of Isle Delfino were so devoted to my quality of life that they started a building project to construct a castle for me. And they did fast work too! This eventually became Palace Delfinia, a gigantic Shine Sprite - shaped castle. My life as a young Princess was pretty simple actually. I wasn't making big executive decisions yet so my time was spent being an adorable little kid enjoying the sunshine. After a while though I started to get lonely, which was where PomPom came in, but that's for another post.
About a year later came the real test in my life, The Graffiti Incident. Otherwise known to you guys as the game "Super Mario Sunshine". I was only four years old when it all happened, and I was just learning about how the Shine Sprites protected the island. I vividly remember it actually. I remember when Shadow Mario first appeared and started his rampage, how the real Mario had been accused and sentenced and how badly I wanted to help, how Peach was kidnapped after she and I only just met, and how Mario showed kindness to me that helped me come out of my shell. I also remember when I helped him with tracking down Shine Sprites, stopping Shadow Mario, him saving me from Shadow Mario, and even one time when I hurt my elbow from tripping onto the ground and he helped tend to it, which I can definitely say was the bigger moment where Mario and I bonded. But the biggest thing that I did in all of this, I actually helped in removing Mario's sentence. Only because I had the audacity to go up to the judge and prove to him that Mario was innocent. I even signed that document thank you very much! When I gave the document to Mario and he read it, guys, I wish I had a picture of what his face looked like. He was utterly shocked and amazed at what I did for him. Additionally that was when he found out I was an actual Princess which was kinda funny. As the day kept going Mario eventually saved the Shine Sprites and Peach, and I found a new enemy/ rival in the form of Bowser Jr.. Fast forward sometime later and came the time when my Palace was raided and Mario came to get me, and then I stayed with the Bros. until it was safe to go back. The coolest part about all of this, Edward had decided along with a council to "freeze" my throne and title until I came back, which prevented any other wannabes who wanted my place.
On my fifteenth birthday the guys and I decided that it was time for me to get my throne back. The timing was perfect too, my magic and powers were just reaching a high point and I was now strong enough to fight for my kingdom too. But when we went back sure enough there was someone who did not want me back on the throne, and it was the same creep who was responsible for the raid! Turns out he wanted to offer me his son for my hand in marriage, NOPE! Obviously marriage was not on the agenda for me, so I had to make sure that he knew my mind-sight, meaning I jack-slapped the back of his arse back to wherever he came from. After all of the chaos, I was finally given a proper coronation ceremony. I almost teared up during the ceremony though, because the one who put the crown on my head was none other than Mario himself, and even though he denies it I swear I saw him holding back tears at one point! And in a blur of glitter my dress actually changed slightly to the way it looks now, and on top of that my powers increased!
To wrap things up, my life has been a real trip, going to one lifestyle to another and back, but I wouldn't have it any other way! Everyone around me has been so supportive and loving, and I really feel like that if I didn't have that support I wouldn't even be here! I say this now, I freaking love my job!! I'll make a part two later to talk about my actual job description (I got teensy bit carried away with the back story. Sorry!). Until then, blog ya soon guys!

Can I ask a question? You admit yourself that Mario didn't recognize that you were a princess when he first meets you. So then why would a grown man want to get to know a random toddler? How were you able to read and write as a 4 year old, let alone gain the trust of a legal system? Thank you and god bless
ReplyDeleteHi there Logkun! This is Dana! I guess I can understand your confusion. I didn't get to explain it here, but during my childhood my butler(along with others) acted as regents. So I had a had a good education obviously, but I didn't necessarily have too much political authority at the time, which made my move to help Mario relieve his sentence was so significant, and also the fact that I was not wearing a crown to show I was royalty.
DeleteThe only real reason why Mario caught on to me was that I kept following him everywhere, dare I say as his... shadow, and I kept getting caught in the middle of his and Shadow Mario's antics trying to help.
Hopefully that answers some of your questions! Hopefully I can start contributing to this blog again soon! Life's sure been busy on my end! See ya soon!
