Let's Talk Smash Bros.!

Hey Guys!

   Pardon the post being a little late this month, I was a little busy with... things... that I'll talk about later. Right now though I wanted to talk about THE biggest tournament known to man! Yeah, I'm talking about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate!! For those who don't know, Super Smash Bros. is a set of tournaments where the most legendary heroes and villains gather and duke it out on the world's stage! Mario and the others have been going to these for years, and Daisy is now included in that list of fighters. I only learned about Smash Bros. until I overheard Mario and Luigi talk about the Brawl season and all of it's preparations. I didn't get to go with them to watch, but it was kind of a good thing, with the Subspace Emissary tearing the Smash world apart. I did, however, get a chance to go with the group as a special guest under Mario for the fourth season, and it was AWESOME! It's like going to a sporting event, it looks way cooler in person than watching it on TV! The world that Smash Bros. takes place in is amazing too. Mario told me that Master Hand and Crazy Hand formed a sort of pocket dimension laced in between all of the known Nintendo universes, and thus a lot of the architecture and landscapes have ties back to multiple places. It even evolves with our changing worlds too, which is how there are some new stages every season. The stages themselves are very cool too, some of the most primitive looking places are interlaced with the most advanced technology to calculate the battles and set up the blast zones. Some of the stages are even simulated with some kind of Virtual Reality stuff to create different environments from one place.

   The only reason why I know so much about this stuff is because I was practically schooled by several people on how they work, plus I had backstage access too because of my VIP guest status. Speaking of, I got to meet a lot of the fighters that Mario worked with, some of which he's pretty close friends to. I first met the members of the original twelve, or the Golden Twelve that they're called, such as Link, Fox, Kirby, Pikachu, and others. Pikachu was especially into me for some reason, he liked jumping all over my shoulders and didn't give me a single shock, PomPom was even getting a little jealous! Everyone was so much cooler than I thought they'd be, it wasn't like meeting  celebrities at all! After a little while, I went off on my own to explore the campus where the living quarters were and ran into other fighters too. Eventually I ran into and met Pit and Palutena. Mario wasn't with me so I was slightly nervous about meeting them, but they saw me first so I couldn't ignore them. They were both super nice especially Palutena, but then her goddess intuition HAD to kick in and she started to list off everything about me. The funny part came the second Palutena mentioned my relationship with Mario, and Pit got a little more excited than he should've been. He was up in my face asking me question after question and telling me how he met Mario himself through the Subspace Emissary. He went from an epic hero to cinnamon roll fan-boy within seconds. Eventually Palutena could tell I was getting uncomfortable and grabbed Pit by the ear and started dragging him away, all the while thanking me for the chat and apologizing for his behavior. I couldn't help but laugh about it all the way back to the guest dorm!

   Ever since I visited the Smash Bros. world the first time I've always wanted to go back, I've even considered trying to enter as a registered fighter. Every time I try and ask the Bros. they keep telling me no, and that I should wait. UGH! Now I know how Daisy felt! I have a full moveset and costumes put aside and everything! I'd be that magic user that fights with her wand like a sword! Doesn't that sound cool? I've plead my case multiple times but I keep getting turned down. I wanna fight too darn it! I hate sitting on the sidelines! Ugh whatever, they'll see through my reasoning and put me in eventually. Besides, with all the good impressions I made with the other fighters I'm pretty sure I'd have a good following to back me up. Of course there's you guys too, you'd vote for me right?*puppy-face* Nah, I shouldn't beg actually, you can't earn everything by begging for it right?
